According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Patriots will listen to offers for QB Ryan Mallett. QB Tom Brady's contract extension makes Mallett more expendable. Beat writer Greg Bedard agrees that Mallett is on the block, but he hears New England is looking for "at least" a 2nd-round pick in return. "They'd be fine keeping him" otherwise, according to Bedard. Considering Mallet is a former 3rd-round pick who's completed just 1 regular season pass, we'd be surprised if a team would be willing to give up a 2nd-rounder. Cleveland has often been mentioned as a potential suitor. We think Arizona would be a good fit too.
