There’s good news for those braving the dog days of summer without football and that’s you won’t have to wait much longer.
On Thursday, the Miami Dolphins announced that they will hold their first training camp practice of the 2016 season on Friday, July 29 at 9 a.m. When fans come out to the Baptist Health Training Facility on the Nova Southeastern University campus, they will notice a huge change in the seating area.
This year’s training camp will feature new canopy covering the seating area, which holds 2,000. This will provide shade and more comfort for the fans watching the training camp practices.
For kids 12 and under, there will also be a new area that provides them the opportunity to collect autographs from some of their favorite Dolphin players after practices are over.
During weekend practices, there will be food trucks, inflatables and fun-filled games for fans.
Tickets for the 12 open practices are free but are limited to 2,000 per day. Fans can reserve their tickets by registering at Dolphins.com/TrainingCamp.
Free parking will be available at the Nova Southeastern University LRITC garage, located near the intersection of University Drive and S.W. 30th Street, between Griffin Road and I-595. Access to this garage is off University Drive and S.W. 30th Street.
Practice times are subject to change, and the most updated information can be found by calling the Dolphins practice hotline at (954) 452-7004 or by visiting Dolphins.com/TrainingCamp.
