According to ESPN's John Clayton, the Steelers remain "optimistic" that they'll be able to work out a long-term deal with restricted free-agent WR Mike Wallace before the start of training camp. "They've always been good about taking care of their top players," Clayton notes. Wallace sat out OTAs and minicamp and is prepared to hold out of training camp if he doesn't get a new contract. It's a concern since Pittsburgh is installing OC Todd Haley's new offense.
