The Jaguars and RB Maurice Jones-Drew are still in a standoff. MJD wants a new deal, especially after seeing Ray Rice, Matt Forte, and LeSean McCoy get paid this offseason. But the Jags expect Jones-Drew to play out the final 2 years of his current deal. Former Jaguar Fred Taylor, who has been working out with MJD this offseason, believes a holdout is likely. "He understands it's a young man's game... He's trying to use whatever leverage he has," Taylor explained. "I think (Jones-Drew) will continue to hold out because there were some things that were miscommunicated by both sides... Possibility it'll go into training camp or even further." Jacksonville opens training camp next Friday. If MJD's holdout extends more than a few days into August, we'll start moving him down our rankings.
