Chiefs beat writer Adam Teicher confirms that the team's offense will be extremely run-heavy this season. It's no surprise. QB Matt Cassel has been mediocre the past 3 seasons, and KC has two quality RBs and an underrated offensive line. "In the Chiefs’ perfect world, they’ll get the ball to [Jamaal] Charles and [Peyton] Hillis a total of 500 times." That'd equate to a little over 30 touches per game. As long as that knee is healthy, Charles should see 18-20 of those. That'd be plenty for him to post top-10 numbers if he returns to pre-injury form. Hillis would then be in line for 10-12 touches per game, making him just a flex option or bye-week fill-in.
