Since retiring, Everett has established the Major Everett Foundation, which focuses on the welfare of retired NFL players who may suffer from disabilities or financial issues. He has also been active in business outside of football stating, “I am a workaholic. I’ve been down in the Atlanta area as a developer. I’ve been in the real-estate business and of course I’m getting my butt kicked right now.”
Cleary, Everett has been busy since his retirement with activates both football related and unrelated. Just as other NFL alumni, he is adapting to his life outside of football well. With finding other interests in business, art, and more; Major Everett has much on his plate to keep him occupied in the years to come.
