Dezman Moses went undrafted at the 2012 NFL draft, but was signed by the Packers. And with the season about to begin next week, the linebacker is virtually a lock to make the final roster.
“Dezman is a great athlete and actually a better person, so I am looking forward to doing things with him in the community and seeing what he can do on the field. Being with Green Bay, there is going to be a lot of pressure to perform because they are expected to win the Super Bowl,” said Michael Harris, CEO of Best Sports Consulting to Class Act Sports’ Jared Ginsberg in an exclusive interview.
Harris has worked with athletes such as Kobe Bryant, Marques Colston and Ray Lewis throughout his career. His company helps athletes off the field with branding, marketing and giving back to the community.
“It’s like seeing my little brother break out so I am excited about seeing what he can do in that uni. Just seeing him play in the NFL is a great accomplishment and was one of his goals since he was a kid. I think it fit in really well with how he plays and how he brings that defense to that team so I think it’s a great opportunity for him all around,” Harris told Class Act Sports.
Moses was a standout while at Tulane, and although undrafted has turned heads during workouts and during the preseason. His partnership with Harris makes him destined for a good future.
“Mike is a great person. I am blessed to have him in my life. I think he is going to be a huge important part of my life in the future and I appreciate it. I met him through my father. Ever since I met him, it’s almost been a perfect marriage. I think it is just going to work out perfectly, and I am excited about it,” Moses said.
Harris is known for working with athletes off the field and giving back, whether that is with his children’s books, or with other programs in the community.
“First and foremost, it is really important for him is to make sure he takes care of business on the field. My job as part of the team that’s with him is to take care of everything off the field. It’s important for anybody who I work with any of my clients, that they have got to want it. He has a great passion and enthusiasm to want to do things for the community and give back to where he came from, and for those who he hasn’t even met yet,” Harris said of Moses.
While he is sure to have an impact in the NFL in years to come, Moses let the fans know where they can keep up with him.
