According to team insider Calvin Watkins, the Cowboys "feel confident in [RB DeMarco Murray's] abilities to be an 18-20 carry back." Watkins notes that Murray carried 20+ times in 5 different games last season -- the most for any RB since OC Jason Garrett took over in 2007. It's not surprising that Dallas kept feeding Murray the rock, considering he averaged a studly 5.5 yards per carry. He's locked in as the team's lead back heading into the 2012 season. Durability is the only thing standing between Murray and RB1 numbers.
