Packers RB Cedric Benson looked fresh in his Packers debut Thursday night, carrying 6 times for 38 yards. "He looked good - really good," a scout told the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. "Quick. He looks like he fits the offense well. Obviously, he'll start. He's much more consistent (than James Starks)." While Benson does seem to be in the driver's seat for the lead role, he still figures to lose touches to Starks and Alex Green. We continue to believe Benson will help Green Bay more than fantasy owners. Since Aaron Rodgers took over as the starting QB in 2008, the Packers have only had 1 RB finish inside the top-20 at the position in standard-scoring fantasy leagues (Ryan Grant in 2009). Benson is unlikely to provide anything more than RB3 value this season.
