Buffalo Bill’s star wide receiver, Stevie Johnson, decided to take his talents to the rap booth during some downtime before the start of the season. In his “ Lazy But Talented” sweatshirt, Johnson hit the studio with The Game to make a new track titled “Run it Back”.
Johnson is impressive considering this is his first recorded song. Compared to fellow NFL stars, DeSean Jackson and Asante Samuel, Stevie Johnson may be the most talented behind the microphone. The following are some notable NFL references in the song:
“Run it back like D. Hest”
“Bang, Bang, Bang, lights out Sean Merriman”
“Handle the pressure, baby, like Fitz do”
“Run it back like D Jack”
Not a bad start for Stevie Johnson’s rap career. If he wants to hit it big in the music business then he should really consider a collaboration with Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw. Keep an eye out for more tracks from Stevie “Why So Serious” Johnson.
