Time to add another name to the mix in the Redskins’ backfield. Rookie RB Alfred Morris is expected to see 1st-team action against the Bears on Saturday — and he may even draw the start. Morris was a 6th-round pick out of Florida Atlantic. He’s a sturdy 5’10 and 219 pounds but ran a 4.67 40-yard dash at the Combine. Straight-line speed isn’t necessarily important in HC Mike Shanahan’s zone scheme though. Morris was impressive in the preseason opener, taking his 15 carries for 54 yards. He’s still far from a fantasy option at this point, but it’s just another reason to be wary of any Washington RB.
