Vikings insider Tom Pelissero predicts that RB Adrian Peterson (knee) will miss the first couple weeks of training camp. "That still would give him plenty of time to ramp up and play some role in the Sept. 9 opener," Pelissero notes. He also believes RB Toby Gerhart will "shoulder a heavier load until Peterson's back to his Pro Bowl form, which could take all season." This has been the feeling for most of the offseason. While AP has a good shot to be out there for Week 1, his workload will be reduced. He looks like more of a RB3 or flex option early on. His fantasy value the rest of the way will hinge on how that knee holds up.
