Adrian Peterson charged with resisting arrest

 Vikings RB Adrian Peterson was arrested and charged with resisting arrest early Saturday morning in Houston. It’s unclear what AP was being arrested for in the first place, but he reportedly exchanged some heated words with a bouncer at a nightclub. Peterson spent the night in jail and was released this morning. It sounds like this was a minor run-in with the law. And considering he has no prior history of legal troubles, Peterson will likely escape without a suspension. We’ll update this story as we learn more.
